Welcome back readers! Can you believe there is only 11 days until Christmas? This year flew by, and the holidays are already upon us. It is a very busy time of year! With it almost being Christmas, we are approaching Christmas break for students all around the world. Today, I will be writing about things I always do over Christmas break. The three things I always do over Christmas break are go sledding, make a gingerbread house, and watch Christmas movies.
Every year since I was little I have gone sledding with my cousins over Christmas break. We usually go to the sledding hill in Cold Spring, if we go to their house, in Wisconsin, we go to a hill near their house. I prefer the hill here in Cold Spring, but we always have a great time.
Another thing we do as a family is have a gingerbread making contest. We pair up in teams and have a contest of who can make the prettiest gingerbread house. My cousin, Brooke, and I always seem to win the contest, year after year.
The last thing that I make sure I do every Christmas break is watch Christmas movies with my family. We have never gone through a break without watching Home Alone, Home Alone 2, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Elf, and Christmas Vacation. We split these up throughout break and make sure we watch them all. These are just a few of me and my family's Christmas break traditions.
This is a video of funny sledding fails!
