3. Decorations- When people have company over, they are very worried about making their house look good for the holidays. They tend to spend a ton of money to buy the best of the best decorations. They decorate a tree, lights outside and many wreaths and other things indoors.
4. Travel- The last one on the list is travel expenses. If your family is not the one hosting, you need to travel to get to your celebration. This includes gas, hotels, possibly flights, and food on the road. Traveling costs add up very quick during the holiday season.
