Hometown Christmas
Hey Readers! Welcome back to my blog! It's now 2019! How did that happen? 2018 flew by! Today my post will include things about my hometown, Cold Spring. I will be talking about a few locations that are perfect for Christmas festivities and winter fun!
First I am going to talk about a tree farm around here that makes picking out a Christmas tree a very fun adventure! It's called Riverbluff Christmas Tree Farm and its located near St. Cloud, Minnesota which is about 25 minutes from my hometown. At this tree farm, you get to travel out to the trees on a hayride pulled by a large tractor. The tractor stops at a field of buffaloes where you can pet them and feed them corn. From there, you then get to pick out the perfect tree and cut it down. Then once the tractor comes back, you load up your tree and ride back to the main house. Once you arrive there, you can go inside where they have cookies, candy canes, apple juice, and apple cider for their customers enjoyment. There is also a very cute and friendly dog, named Selby, waiting for you at the house. The whole experience is one you can't forget and one that will make getting a Christmas tree every year around here a very day to remember!
Next I want to talk about an awesome place near my hometown where you can go to snowboard, ski, or snow tube! There is so many things to do there and many different forms of winter entertainment to fit the wants of everyone in a group. There is multiple warming houses that offer wide varieties of food and drinks. Skiing hills based on experience can be found here. There are beginner hills and more advanced hills. There is options for all ages and interests and it is a very popular place around here. I definitely suggest it!
